Adobe Illustrator - Gradients How to tutorial

1. Open new file in your illustrator. File - New

2. Now draw an oval shape with the help of Ellipse tool. For this select Ellipse tool (if you see rectangle selection instead of ellipse click on the small black arrow in the bottom right corner of rectangle tool and hold the mouse till the whole menu appears and then select ellipse tool.)
3. Now drag the mouse to draw an oval or circle.

4. Now to make gradient color first we need to select the desired color. In below picture you can see forground color box is white (picture No. 1).
5. Now click on the color bar and select the blue color and the white color will turn into blue.
6. Now click on blue color (picture 2) and drag it onto the grey gradient bar (No. 3).
7. Your gradient color bar will trun blue from grey when you follow the above steps.

8. Now select the fill bucket or tool and click inside the ellipse to fill the gradient color.
9. You can slide the gradient slide to get different color effects.

10. You can play with different colors to see different results.
