Paint Shop Pro 7 (Graphics designing Tutorial)
Advanced Tutorial

Diamond Gold Text

For this tutorial you'll need Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Download Gold and silverpattern fill here
Download Lokicola font here.
I've zipped it for your ease you can unzip it and place it in appropriate folders. Place font in font folder.

I assume that you already have Paint shop pro 7 in your machine. If not download it and install it in your machine.

Now open the psp 7 software.
Open new image with these settings. File - New.
Flood fill with black color.

Now make a new layer. Place your mouse on layer palette then right click on layer 1 and click on new raster layer name it "text".

Open gold fill and silverpattern fill from your hard disc. Make you foreground color - gold fill. For this click on forground color box now click on "Pattern"

Now find the gold fill pattern from dialog box. It should be your foreground color. The same way get silverpattern fill in background color box.

Now we are ready to write our text. Make sure that you are working on "text" layer. Make line width 2 in tool options.

Click on Text tool a dialog box will pop open now type the desired text (I typed Hello) and keep settings like this and click ok.

Now your text should look like this. Now merge both layers by clicking on Layers - merge visible.

The same text looks like this in white background. You can add drop shadow too.

That's it you are done!!!
