Christmas Bell Tag - with vmtoolbox filter tut

For this tutorial you'll need Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Download Christmas bell pic and silver gradient here
Download vmtoolbox filter here
Note: I've zipped it for your ease you can unzip Christmas bell pic and silver gradient and place it in any folder.
Unzip and place vmtoolbox filter in your plugin folder of psp 7. It should be something like: c:\program files\jasc software Inc.\paintshop pro 7\plugins
Note: If you are a new psp user and if you don't find plugins folder you may need to create it.

I assume that you already have Paint shop pro 7 in your machine. If not download it and install it in your machine.

Now open the psp 7 software.
Open Christmas bell pic and silver gradient from your hard drive.
Open new image with these settings. File - New.width/height - 400, bgcolor - black instead of transparent.

2. Add New Layer. Layers menu - New raster layer. Or right click on current layer of layer palette and click on New raster layer.
Select preset shape tool from verticle toolbar. Now in tool options find Dodecagon selection (or any desired shape elipse ect.). In tool options keep settings like this.



Select silver gradient image from your foreground color pattern option. Keep bgcolor null as shown in below pic.



Draw three circles one inside another as shown in pic (drag from left to right with preset shape tool curser to draw circle) . Draw small circles in the middle of workspace as shown in top pic (main tag).


3. Now fill the outer layer with silver gradient which you've downloaded. Select the outer circle with magic wand .
now select silver gradient from your forground pattern box. and click inside the circle with marching ants to apply it.



4. Add New layer. Layers menu - New raster layer.
Now select draw tool from verticle toolbar. In forground color box click on pattern palette to open silver gradient.
Keep options in tool options like these. You can keep width 1 or 2 as you desire.



Now draw verticle and horizontal lines as shown in pic.

5.With the same settings draw some more lines around circle image. See pic for reference.



6. Now copy bell pic and paste it as new layer. Edit - copy. Edit - Paste as new layer.
7. Go to effects menu - plugin filter - vmtoolbox - zoomblur with these settings.




8. Now layer duplicate. Image menu - flip. Now you can see two identicle splash images. Drag and adjust image if needed with the help of mover tool .
9. Now your image should look like this.



10. Now copy bell pic and paste it as new layer.
Save the image as psp file if you need. Or merge all layers and save it as .gif or .jpg file. Layer - merge - merge all flatten.
Add desired text on your tag. Follow my any of the text tut for it.
That's it.
