For this tutorial you'll need Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Download font here
Download eyecandy 3.0 here or here.
Please note some extra files are there you may not need it so just ignore it. I've zipped it for your ease you can unzip it and place it in appropriate folders. Place eyecandy in Plugin folder of psp. font in font folder.
Download Silver Shimmer preset here.

I assume that you already have Paint shop pro 7 in your machine. If not download it and install it in your machine.

Now open the psp 7 software.
Open new image with these settings. File - New.

Click on layer pallette and click wiith right mouse button on layer 1 and click on New raster layer. It will create new layer on your pallete name it red text.

Now click on Text tool a dialog box will pop open now type the desired text and keep settings like this and click ok. Keep color red or meroon.



Now your text should look like this with marching ants, do not deselect it.

Click on Effects (top menu) - Plug-in-filter - Eyecandy 3.0 - Glass.

Now a dialog box will pop open keep settings like this and click on ok sign.



Now your image should look like this. Do not deselect it.

Now click on layer pallet and click with right mouse button on current layer and add new raster layer. Name it "silver text".
Repeat the above process with text tool and type the same text with same setting, but keep color "white" instead of Red.



Now let's apply preset. Click on Effects - plugin filter - flaming pear - super bladpro - Silver Shimmer - ok.
Now click on Color menu - Adjust - Brightness/Contrast with these settings.





Now copy the upper half portion of the silver text with rectangle selection tool. Make sure that silver text layer is selected.
Now Paste this half silver text over the red text. Paste as new layer.



 On your leyer -1 fill desired color. I filled white color. Save this image in .psp format for future use. If you want to make .gif or .jpg image just go to "layers" menu and click on "Merge - Merge visible". Now copy and paste it as new image and save it in .gif or .jpg format.

That's it you are done.
