Glittering Frame
This tutorial will teach
you how to make a glittering shiny frame around any picture.

For this get any desired picture or save (pic
1) in your hard drive. To save this pic right click on this image
and save it.
You'll need Jasc's
psp 7 or Jasc.com
(download trial version)
You'll need Greg's
Pool Shadow filter or plugins graphics plus.
You'll need to install plugin dll's in your system if you do not have
already, without it plugin filter will not work. If you do not know how?

To install the pool sahdow filter, after downloading unzip it with the
help of Winzip
software and save it in plugin folder i.e. copy them to your plug-in directory,
probably something like C:\program file\Jasc software inc.\paint shop
pro 7\plugin

Ok now let's begin!!!
Open the saved (pic1)
from your hard drive in psp.
Set your Forground color #D7D7B3 and Background colors #808000 according
to (pic 2). You
can choose any color according to your taste. I chose green color.

Note: toggle

- you can see two arrows, click on the arrows to inter-change the colors
of foreground and background)
Method: Make sure
your darker color is in the background box.
Now select the picture (image) you've opened from your hard drive.
Go to menu bar images -- add border --1 symmetric -- Click
ok. ( Your settings should be like this - pic

toggle the colors so that your light
color is the background color now and add the border of 1symmetric.
toggle the colors again so that the dark color is the background
color and repeat the border of 1symmetric.
Now toggle the colors, make sure your
background color is light one.
Now again add border of 5 symmetric.
Select this area with the help of Magic wand. (pic

Now go to Effects -- Plug-in filters1--
Filter factory gallery A -- Pool Shadow
Settings should be default - Click ok (pic

Now deselect by right
clicking on image.
Toggle your color again reapeat the 1st step, add border with 1symmetric
three times (dark, light then with dark color in background). images
-- add border --1 symmetric
Now Toggle again. Your
background color should be light one. Add border with 10 symmetric.
Select the current border with magic wand.
Now apply the pool shadow as before Effects -- Plug-in filters1-- Filter
factory gallery A -- Pool Shadow Settings should be default - Click
ok}
Now add noice
Go to menu bar Effects -- Noise -- Add -- 15% Uniform.
Effects -- Sharpen -- Sharpen.
repeat sharpen.
Deselect.
Toggle your color again
reapeat the 1st step, add border with 1symmetric three times (dark, light
then with dark color in background). images -- add border --1 symmetric
That's it and you are done.
