Layers - How to merge two pictures?



This tutorial will teach you how to merge two pictures using Layers.
If you've never worked with layers please click here to learn more about layers that how it works.

Ok Let's start!!
Download lady tube here and store it in your tube folder. It is a .tub file so you can store it directly in your picture tube folder. If you do not know how learn here. Follow the method for store .tub file.

Save this image in your hard drive.

Now open new image with these settings.

Add new layer in your layer palette and call it flower.
Open the image flower from your hard drive which you've already saved. Now copy it and paste it in your white image (make sure that your flower layer is selected in your Layer palette.
Now drag your slider of layer palette to fade the picture. Move slider till you feel satisfied. Your image should look this light.

Now add new layer call it lady.
Click on your tool palette (left verticle tool bar) to select tube button .
Now select desired tube or the tube you've downloaded.

Now click on the flower image with mouse to paste it. Make sure that layer 'lady' is selected in layer palette. Your image will look like this. The image of lady looks little brighter.

Now we need to fade the image of lady so that it could merge with flower image. For this go to your layer palette and drag your slider to fade it.

Save it in your hard drive as psp for future use or as gif or jpg to use it in web site.

If you want to use it as a gif or jpg file merge the image, go to Layers -Merge -Merge all flatten and save it.

That's it you are done.
