Paint Shop Pro 7 (Graphics designing Tutorial)
Advanced Tutorial

Motion Trail effect

For this tutorial you'll need Jasc's psp 7 or Jasc.com (download trial version)
Download deer pic here
Download Toadies filter here.
Download eyecandy 3.0 here or here.
Note: I've zipped it for your ease you can unzip it and place it in appropriate folder. Place eyecandy and Toadies filter in Plugin folder of psp.

I assume that you already have Paint shop pro 7 in your machine. If not download it and install it in your machine.

Now open the psp 7 software.
Open deer pic from your hard drive.
Open new image with these settings. File - New.width/height - 400, bgcolor - white. I keep image size biger than the needed size for ease.

Now copy deer pic and paste it as new layer. Edit - copy. Then Edit - paste as new layer.
Now go to Effects menu click on Plugin filter1 - Toadies - Plain Mosaic Blur with these settings.

Now click on Effects menu - Plugin filter1 - Eye candy 3 - Motion trail with these settings.

Now your image should look like this.

Now in Layer palette highlight Layer 1 and slide the opasity toggle to 50 to make pic blur.

Now resize the deer image to 75% .

Copy it and paste it upon motion trail as new layer. Edit - copy. Edit - paste as new layer.
Now in background layer fill desired color. I chose color #E6DEBB.
Now your image should look like this.

Now merge all the layers. Layers menu - merge - merge all flatten. And you are done!!! You can add gradient color too.
