Some filters like Greg's and Andrew's filters may need to converted into 8bf formate. You might have noticed when you were trying to unzip it, it is in ffl format not in 8bf. If this is the case you need to covert it into 8bf format to make it work. You need Plugin commander to convert it.

Download Plugin commander here.

3. Now double click on (Plugin commander folder). In this folder you'll find PiCoLight.exe doulbe click it to open it.
4. PiCoLight.exe is the main software. Every time when you need to convert any file into 8bf you need to open this .exe file.

How to convert FFL to 8bf?
1. Open plugin commander by clicking PiCoLight.exe in your windows explorer.

Note: You can make your own folder and dowload the filters in it. You can learn more about it next section.

5. Now you can see it shows the folder name where you are going to store your 8bf file. Keep settings as in pic and click ok.

How to store filters in different folder?
You need not to install all the filter in same plugin folder. It may slow down your system. You can save different filter in different folder. Let's see how.

1. Download filter in your hard drive.
2. Make a new folder. Ex: c:\psp\my_plugins. You can make a new folder in your desired drive.
3. Now make a sub folder for each filter. Ex: Todies_filter, Simple_filter, Greg factory filter etc.
4. Download filters in appropriate sub folder.

Now you need to define File Location so that psp could take filter from appropriate plugins folder.
1. In your psp window click on File - Preferences - File Location.

2. A dialog box will open up click on Plug-in Filters (find on top right)
3. Now a dialog box will pop open keep settings like this. You can click on browse button of no. 2 line and select the folder where you've added new plugins. You need not to give location of sub folders but as you can see in pic just give the location of plugins and it would work. Ex: c:\psp\my_plugins

Now it should work fine.
